Day 1 Transfer to Darjeeling

On your arrival, our representative meets with you and helps you to board your vehicle & transfer to Darjeeling, Queen of India's hill stations. It is surrounded by fragrant tea gardens which seem to flow over the layered slopes like emerald swells on a rough sea. Overnight hotel – Darjeeling.

Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning start your day with the visit of Tiger Hill viewpoint, Situated at an altitude of 2590 metres (8482 ft.). This spot has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise over "Kanchenjunga" and the great Eastern Himalayan Mountains.

Post-breakfast visit –

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: The HMI was set up following the successful ascent of Mount Everest by the local hero Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary. The institute is presently under the purview of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India and its museum is worth a visit. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: It is a high-altitude wildlife park and new home for the Siberian Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear, Deer, Red Panda, Snow Leopard and Birds. Tenzing and GombuRock: Two gigantic natural rocks in Darjeeling, Opposite to each other is one of the prime attractions of Darjeeling. Chowrasta & Mall: Here people gather to chat, spend time basking in the sun or just to snatch a moment of peace. From Chowrasta take a charming stroll at the Darjeeling Mall. Chowrasta is the central place of the Mall Road.

Also, visit the Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple: According to the Lotus Sutra, the very appearance of the Peace Pagoda is an embodiment of Lord Buddha that radiates peace and non-violence. Ropeway - For incomparable views of Darjeeling and its alpine ambience, the Darjeeling Ropeway offers the most striking sights of the township, all through the bird’s eye view midst the clouds. It gives you a feeling of flying over lush verdant valleys.

The evening is free. Overnight Hotel – Darjeeling.

Day 3 Transfer to Kalimpong

Post breakfast drive to Kalimpong. Nestling in the lush green mid-ranges of the Himalayas, the town has an incredibly stunning backdrop of towering snow-capped peaks. On arrival Check in at your hotel. Afternoon free for Personal activities. Overnight Hotel – Kalimpong.

Day 4 Kalimpong Sightseeing

Post Breakfast you will visit –

The Pine View Nursery: Also known as the famous Cactus Nursery, this nursery has turned into one of the major places of tourist interest. Situated on the outskirts, this nursery is home to almost 1500 varieties of cacti ranging.

DeoloHill: Situated at a height of 5500ft, Deolo is the highest point of Kalimpong town. The view from the Hill is a fantastic one.

Science Centre: There are a lot of hands on experiments which children and adults can do. The garden beside the Science City museum is the perfect place to go for beautiful mountain views and amazing photography.

Later visit Durpin Dara's viewpoint: The hill commands a panoramic view overlooking the town, and the snow-covered Himalayan peaks. This place is uniquely spiritual and one can attain mental peace by simply walking around this magnificent structure.

Afternoon transfer to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim is located on a ridge at a height of 5500 feet. With a spectacular view of the Kanchenjunga.

Day 5 Gangtok Sightseeing

The morning after breakfast we will go for a full-day excursion to -

Tsongo Lake: At an altitude of 12,400 ft, the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo Lake is a must on every visitor's itinerary. A winding road through rugged mountain terrain and sharp cliffs takes you to Tsomgo. The lake derives its water from the melting snows of the mountains surrounding the lake.

New Baba Mandir: This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. However, for the tourists’ convenience, the samadhi of Baba Harbhajan Singh has been reconstructed and this shrine is popularly recognized by tourists as New Baba Mandir.

An optional tour to Nathula pass can also be arranged ( Mon, Tues closed) with 30days advance request at an additional cost -

Nathula Pass: At an altitude of 14450 ft, the road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake and it is 17 km from the lake. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire.

Afternoon back to the hotel. Free evening. Overnight stay.

Day 6 Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP After breakfast check out and drive to Bagdogra/NJP for an onward journey. The tour ends with sweet memories.
