Day: 1 Transfer to Gangtok

Meet you at Bagdogra and after doing formalities we will drive you to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim is located on a ridge at a height of 5500 feet. With a spectacular view of the Kanchenjunga, The town provides the perfect base for travel through the state

On arrival check in at the hotel. Evening free. Overnight stay.

Day: 2 Gangtok Sightseeing

Today we will visit some important places in Gangtok.

Banjhakri Falls, The Banjhakri Falls is situated at a distance of 10-12 kilometres from Gangtok on the way to Ranka monastery.

Namgyal Research Institute of Tibetology: NIT is a treasure of a vast collection of rare Lepcha, Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues and rare Thankas (colourful tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy).

Government Institute of Cottage Industry [GICI]: An emporium at the institute sells an array of local traditional items, which are very popular with tourists.

Do-Drul Chorten Stupa: The Chort en Stupa is marked by a golden top dome. This golden top can be seen from various places in Gangtok.

Orchid Flower Show: The orchids looked artificial, akin to the cheap crepe imitations in shops, too beautiful to be true and genuine.

Tashi View Point: From this point, one gets a breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, one of the most graceful peaks in the world. An Observatory Tower, Cafeteria and Public amenities have also been recently added.

Ganesh Tok: From this Spot, one can get a bird's eye view of the sprawling Gangtok town, while across the hills Mt. Khang-Chen-Dzonga and Mt. Siniolchu loom over the horizon.

Bakthang Waterfall Gangtok: This is a wonderful waterfall located on the North Sikkim Highway towards Tashi View Point. While visiting Tashi Viewpoint or returning, it's worth stopping at this roadside waterfall for sometime

Day: 3 Tsongo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion

The morning after breakfast we will go for a full-day excursion to -

Tsongo Lake: At an altitude of 12,400 ft, the ethereally beautiful Tsomgo Lake is a must on every visitor's itinerary. A winding road through rugged mountain terrain and sharp cliffs takes you to Tsomgo. The lake derives its water from the melting snows of the mountains surrounding the lake.

New Baba Mandir: This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army. However, for the tourists’ convenience, the samadhi of Baba Harbhajan Singh has been reconstructed and this shrine is popularly recognized by tourists as New Baba Mandir.

An optional tour to Nathula pass can also be arranged ( Mon, Tues closed) with 30days advance request at an additional cost  -

Nathula Pass: At an altitude of 14450 ft, the road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake and it is 17 km from the lake. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire.

Afternoon back to the hotel. Free evening. Overnight stay.

Day: 4 Transfer to Darjeeling Post breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, Queen of India's hill stations. Its setting is one of incomparable beauty. A Victorian town of old-world charm 'discovered' by the British. It is surrounded by fragrant tea gardens which seem to flow over the layered slopes like emerald swells on a rough sea. Overnight hotel – Darjeeling.
Day: 5 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning start your day with the visit of Tiger Hill viewpoint, Situated at an altitude of 2590 metres (8482 ft.). This spot has earned international fame for the magnificent view of the sunrise over "Kanchenjunga" and the great Eastern Himalayan Mountains.

Post-breakfast visit –
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: The HMI was set up following the successful ascent of Mount Everest by the local hero Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary. The institute is presently under the purview of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India and its museum is worth a visit.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: It is a high-altitude wildlife park and new home for the Siberian Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear, Deer, Red Panda, Snow Leopard and Birds.

Tenzing and GombuRock: Two gigantic natural rocks in Darjeeling, Opposite to each other is one of the prime attractions of Darjeeling. 

Chowrasta & Mall: Here people gather to chat, spend time basking in the sun or just to snatch a moment of peace. From Chowrasta take a charming stroll at the Darjeeling Mall. Chowrasta is the central place of the Mall Road.

Also, visit the Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple: According to the Lotus Sutra, the very appearance of the Peace Pagoda is an embodiment of Lord Buddha that radiates peace and non-violence.

Ropeway - For incomparable views of Darjeeling and its alpine ambience, the Darjeeling Ropeway offers the most striking sights of the township, all through the bird’s eye view midst the clouds. It gives you a feeling of flying over lush verdant valleys.

The evening is free. Overnight Hotel – Darjeeling.

Day: 6 Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP Transfer to Bagdogra airport/IXB to board the flight/Train for onward destination. The tour ends with sweet memories.
