On arrival, our representative will meet with you & transfer to Chamong, a Tea Estate near Darjeeling. Check-in at a nice tea resort inside a tea plantation. This is a recreated Planters Bungalow overlooking a beautiful valley with rolling tea bushes.

You have ample opportunity to walk around the garden and enjoy the scenic beauty as you sip the finest Darjeeling orthodox tea from your balcony.

We take you on a guided Tea Garden tour with the manager who will explain to you the tea history of Darjeeling and the different tea quality. If the factory is open you will be taken to the factory to see the process of the tea making. A special tea testing session will also be arranged for you. You will also meet the tea garden workers in the field and will have the opportunity to talk to them.

The tea garden has an ample scope of bird watching. With a binocular our accompanied guide and a book you can set out for a short bird-watching tour around the garden. ( Guide cost additional).

We can also arrange a picnic lunch by a mountain stream. (Optional at an additional cost).

In the evening if you are interested we can arrange a small bonfire (Optional at an additional cost).

Post breakfast checkout and transfer to Kolakham. Kolakham is a small village 38 km from Kalimpong. Cradled in the lap of the Neora Valley Reserve Forest, facing the Great Eastern Himalayas.

On arrival check in at your Jungle camp. The evening is free. Overnight at Kolakham

Today is a leisure day for you. Enjoy the scenic view of the surroundings. You can walk through the narrow roads of the Himalayan hills.

Morning transfer to Gorumara National park. The Gorumara forests have a very good population of one-horned rhinos, leopards, elephants, and Indian bison. On arrival check-in at a nice Tea Resort.

Morning Jeep Safari (optional at an additional cost)

Early morning Jeep safari for 2 hrs to Gorumara Watch Tower. Visit Rhino Point and Jatra Prasad Tower deep inside the forest to see the wild animals in their natural habitat. Both towers give a panoramic view of the vast forest and grassland of Gorumara National Park. Return to your hotel for Breakfast.

Gorumara to Bindu Jhalong Excursion with Chapramari Sanctuary, 55kms in 2.5hrs (One way)

We drive onwards from Chapramari to Bindu (Alt 4350Ft / 1300M), the last village on the Indo–Bhutan border along the Himalayan foothills. Also, visit Jhalong on the bank of the Jaldhaka River.

Back to the hotel. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight stay.

Check out from Gorumara and drive to NJP/IXB as per your return schedule. Farewell and tour ends.
